Sunday Tibetan School

The goal of Sunday Tibetan School is to immerse our children in Tibetan culture, language, and traditions on a weekly basis in order to instill in them a strong sense of their Tibetan roots and identity.

Sunday Tibetan School begins at 9:30 AM with a morning assembly in the shrine and ends at 3:00 PM with language and performing arts classes. Our students range in age from 6-17 and we currently have 50 plus students enrolled. There are 8 levels of Tibetan language classes offered, which are taught by experienced and dedicated teachers. In Performing arts classes, our children learn traditional Tibetan songs, dances, and musical instruments under the expertise of our exceptionally talented and patient teacher, Mr. Tashi Dhondup and Mr. Lobsang Tsering.
