The NWTCA offers weekly education programs for Tibetan children to formally learn the Tibetan language and customs. Children are instructed on how to speak, read and write the Tibetan language, study ancient and modern Tibetan history, Tibetan values and Buddhism. In addition, the children also have the opportunity to attend the NWTCA Tibetan Youth Summer Camp, which is a one-week program that immerses the children in a more intensive exposure to Tibetan culture.

The children learn about Tibetan history, politics, Tibetan Buddhism, dance, music, art and food. To make a donation to the Tibetan Children’s Education Fund please see the membership information page or contact the NWTCA office at (503) 222-7172 or info@nwtca.org.
